Watercolour Anemones with Gemma

Today I have a floral card to share, using the beautiful WOW Mayan Glintz embossing powder.

I stamped the images from the Pretty Pink Posh Anemones stamp set onto Bristol Smooth card with the WOW embossing ink. I then embossed them with WOW Mayan Glintz embossing powder. This embossing powder is so pretty, I couldn’t stop looking at the embossed flowers and leaves.

I used some Zig clean colour real brush pens in 230 pale rose, 220 tea rose, with a water brush, to colour in some of the images.

On a card base, I added a border of MFT black and white striped patterned paper. I then arranged my flowers on the card base, adhering them with liquid glue and foam squares.

I stamped a sentiment from the Altenew Birthday Builder stamp set at the top, then finished with some Pretty Pink Posh ivory jewels.

Have a lovely day,

Handy Stamp Storage Idea

Hello everyone... Happy Tuesday! :D It's Sarah here with today's blog post created for our Monochromatic theme. I don't know about you, but I always find I need to use stamps from a mixture of stamp sets and I thought it would be easier if I didn't have to slide each stamp set in and out of the packets all of the time. I have a bunch of empty CD cases that I had almost thrown out but thankfully I hadn't as they turned out to be the perfect solution! The part that holds the CD easily popped out so I could then position my different stamp sets within them. I found an old wooden CD box but it had no lid and as all clear acrylic stamps are best stored out of the light, I decided I would make a box lid for it... not just a plain lid though... a Wow Embossed box lid! Here are brief instructions on how to make it: STEP ONE Using pearl silver card, I created a square to the size that I needed (145mm) and added 30mm wide rectangles a

VIDEO: Three Ways to Use an Embossing Pen with Jenny Colacicco

Do you have the WOW! Embossing Pen?  Even if you do, do you know what to do with it? Well, if you have been wondering, I can help. I have three different ways to use the embossing pen in today's post and for me it was a game changer.  I've had the pen for a while and just never picked it up except to maybe add a dot of ink where I hadn't fully heat embossed. The techniques I'll show you today (and there's a video!) will make this pen a must have tool in your craft room! My cards also feature the newly released Gemstone Trio embossing glitters (and some other recently released powders now available). I'm going to show you how I created these three cards, all of which feature a different way to use the pen - you can watch the video below or over on the WOW! Embossing You Tube channel (and be sure to hit subscribe while you're over there! Highlighting Dry Embossing For my first card, I used the pen to highlight some areas on a dry embo
