VIDEO: Artist Trading Cards with autumn watercolors by Dunja

Autumn is a wonderful time with beautiful colors, isn't it? I really like it and that was my inspiration for todays Artist Trading Cards.

ATCS always have a fixed size: two and a half by three and a half inches. I made blanks from Canson Mixed Media Watercolor Paper. First I use the Anti Static Powder Tool, then I stamped the leafs with the Embossing Ink Pad. The stamp is from Rubberdance. I have chosen Gold Pearl. It fits perfectly to the autumn colors. Just sprinkle the powder over it and then I heat the powder with the Heattool.

Now I take the watercolors. I like the beautiful colors and if I use a little more water they become soft and that's what I like most when I do watercolors. First I wet the leaves that I want to color.
I choose a yellow tone, then an orange and finally a warm red tone to color the leaves.

I add some color sprinkles, that makes it softer. I dry it quickly so that the colors don't run too much. Finally I add a few golden color spots. Now I glue everything on a cardboard blank.I edit it a bit so that it looks more used. The same with the ATC, I just gently rip the paper.

For the sentiment I have black Cardstock, the Anti Static Powder Tool and Golden Rich Embossing Powder in super fine. I want to use the words one by one, so I cut them apart with scissors and then apply them

I hope you get inspired to color up your life :)

Enjoy your day, thanks for stepping by and don't forget to stay creative.
