Hi everyone! Martha Lucia here hosting with you new inspiration. Today I want to share a card using the Double Embossing Technique and I have step by step of this card to share with you.

Double Embossing - Martha Lucia Gomez

Here is how I created this card:

1. Cut your Very Vanilla card base using a piece of card stock of 4-1/4"x 11" and make score in 5-1/2".
2. Cut a piece of Glossy paper of 3-3/4" x 5".
3. Ink the Glossy paper piece using the WOW Embossing Pad. Press the ink pad directly over the card stock to cover the whole surface.
4. Cover all the inked surface with WOW Gold Pearl Embossing Powder.
5. Melt the powder using the WOW Heat Tool.
6. Since this is translucent powder, you may need a second layer to have a uniform and complete covering. If this is necessary, just repeat steps 3, 4 and 5.
7. Take the WOW Secret Garden Stamp and ink it well with WOW Embossing Pad.
8. Stamp the inked WOW Secret Garden over the embossed piece with Gold Pearl.
9. Cover the stamped image with WOW Metallic Cooper.
10. Remove the excess and melt it with the WOW Heat Tool.

11. To create the die cuts, take a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and ink it WOW Embossing Pad. Press the ink pad directly over the card stock to cover all the surface.
12. Cover all the inked surface with WOW Primary Ebony Embossing Powder.
13. Melt the powder with WOW Heat Tool.
14. Paste the Black embossed piece with the Hello die cut and birds die cuts through your big shot.
15. Cut several (4 or 5) hello words in very vanilla card stock to paste it behind your black embossed word to give this dimension.

16. To complement your message, stamp a sentiment from the stamp set WOW Mr. Wow's Wonderful Words using WOW Embossing Pad y WOW Primary Ebony Embossing Powder. Melt with WOW Heat Tool.
17. Paste the birds and the last sentiment over the double embossed layer using dimensional.
18. Paste the hello word over the double embossed layer.
19. Paste the decorated layer over the card base.

NOTE: I used Glossy Paper because this gave me a shiny finish and the layers of the embossing look more delicate on this kind of paper. But you can use regular card stock if you don't have glossy paper.

I hope you enjoyed my card and tutorial and share with us in our challenge your creation using the embossing techniques and Wow Products.

See you soon!

Life's A Beach

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you're all well and getting very creative this month!
As this month's challenge is summer and I live on an island it seemed only natural that my inspiration card would feature sea and sand.
To create my beach scene I started off with a piece of pale blue card and a rubbed a Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad across the top several times. I then sprinkled WOW Peppermint Tea Powder and Under The Sea Glitter over the top, tapped off the excess and melted with a heat tool. I created the sand underneath using Gold Pearl Powder.

For the sea I ran a line of PVA glue in the middle of the sky and sand with my finger, sprinkled with Under The Sea Glitter and melted with a heat tool. For the waves I added small areas of PVA straight from the nib of the bottle when added Opaque White Powder.

The birds and sentiment I have used Opaque British Summer Powder which is one of my favourite new powders, great colour and great name!
Finally, I added beach in…

Handy Stamp Storage Idea

Hello everyone... Happy Tuesday! :D

It's Sarah here with today's blog post created for our Monochromatic theme.

I don't know about you, but I always find I need to use stamps from a mixture of stamp sets and I thought it would be easier if I didn't have to slide each stamp set in and out of the packets all of the time.

I have a bunch of empty CD cases that I had almost thrown out but thankfully I hadn't as they turned out to be the perfect solution! The part that holds the CD easily popped out so I could then position my different stamp sets within them.

I found an old wooden CD box but it had no lid and as all clear acrylic stamps are best stored out of the light, I decided I would make a box lid for it... not just a plain lid though... a Wow Embossed box lid!

Here are brief instructions on how to make it:

Using pearl silver card, I created a square to the size that I needed (145mm) and added 30mm wide rectangles around the square adding in some t…
