VIDEO - Snarky cat card for friend with Katka

 Hi all, 

Today I will show you how to make easy mixed media card with cute snarky cat stamp designed by Tim Holtz. I will a make mixed media background step by step and you will see how easy it is.

material:

WOW heat tool

WOW embossing pad

WOW embossing powder - Bright white, Black puff ultra high, Sparkles Gold dust




other material: heavy weight paper, Distress ink - Vintage photo, Rustic wilderness, clear gesso, texture paste, stamps - snarky cats by Stamper Anonymous and different stamps, tissue paper, archival ink, washi tape, 3D foam tape, stencil

How to:

- make your own collage paper - stamp with Archival ink different images on tissue paper - let it dry a bit
- prepare card panel with heavy weight paper and with clear gesso glue just piece of your collage paper
- take 2 different distress inks and with smooching technique make colourful background - make splatters with inks and with water too -  to activate that lovely effect of distress inks
- take some interesting stamp and WOW embossing pad and stamp some images to your background and use white embossing ink, heat set it
- take any stencil, structure paste, apply paste and over wet paste sprinkle Sparkles to add interest to your background
- with WOW embossing ink stamp focal image and sentiment and use Black Puff embossing powder, heat set it, fussy cut it
- glue your panel to no card and with 3D foam tape glue sentiment and focal image

This is a fun and quirky image Kate and love the interesting background you have created using the two new colours of DI and some stamping on tissue paper, and then more white embossed, and also some gold sparkle stencilled dots, and the washy tape works well for the image to stand on, and such a fun sentiment too. x
