Masculine Travel Card

I hope you are all doing well. Ericka here and today I'm playing along with the WOW! FB Monthly Challenge for August by creating a masculine card.

I used the World Map Background stamp from Darkroom Door and love the details. I started by using Chartreuse Color Bursts pigment powder on watercolor paper to create a colorful background. Once it was dry, I added Walnut Stain Distress Crayon around the edges and blended in the color with my finger.

I then stamped the Wold Map in my MISTI with WOW! Embossing ink and used Vintage Peacock embossing powder. This powder has a hint of sparkle that adds a pretty element to any project.

I heat embossed a Tim Holtz Quote chip with Glassy Ocean embossing powder, which is part of the Jo-Firth Young Trio set. I love the tint of blue it gives this chipboard. I added a little distress crayon over the embossing to go along with the brown corners.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope my card inspired you to play along in our challenge and create a masculine cards. Enter your project on the FB WOW! Embossing Powders Fans page for a chance to win. Have a wonderful day.
