Silver & Purple Gradation Card

Hello! Nicole here and I am back with another brand-new card to share with you today. Actually today's card will be the last project I am sharing as a DT member for WOW. It has been so great being in the team and sharing my passion for heat embossing with all of you.

So, as a last project, I wanted to share something colorful and pretty, AND easy to create! I used watercolor paper and stamped De-Vine stamp set with Versamark. I used my favorite power of all, the super fine Silver embossing powder and heat set it. I think the pattern of this stamp set is just so gorgeous!

Then, I used Seedless Preserves and Dusty Concord Distress Inks and inked up the whole surface. This create resist and dye the non-heat set portion of the paper. I love how those dark purple colors make the silver images pop out.

I simply die cut the main piece with some stitched rectangular die and used foam dots to pop it out on a white cardbase. I added few sequins to dress up the card front and added sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed today's project! Thank you for stopping by.

Hugs,

Nicole

  1. Background stamps, such as the De-Vine, are great to make your own "paper". Clean and simple but lovely.
And good luck for the future!
