IIf you are a long time follower of WOW, you may have noticed our designers smartly using household tools to help in their creations. We are specifically looking at the clothes pin today, otherwise called "the peg".
These handy, inexpensive wooden delights have become a staple among crafters. Pegs are used to keep cards and papers together, to hold little tins of WOW Embossing Powder to melt, and as embellishments.
For my garden project, i decided on decorating a set to put on RAK (random acts of kindness) packages throughout the summer.
Inspired by my blooming peonies, I colored the base peg in "Chewing Gum" paint from Jenny Bowlin. The flowers were made with the WOW silicone rose mold, a full teaspoon of Melt-it and half a teaspoon of Nice Ice Blue Wow embossing powder.
After a minute the flowers cooled and were adhered to the peg with bits of lace.
If you give this project a whirl, we'd love to see your masterpieces on our facebook page.
Enjoy!
Sooooo cute!! Really have to look at the Wow Melt-it. Thank you for giving the measurements too for the gorgeous flowers :)
