So my share today is inspired by the Noveau style and I have used Graphic 45 with Metallic Copper Embossing Powders and WOW Copper Foil.
I used my silhouette and cut a frame for my project, at present my project is sitting on paper but I plan to either put her in a frame or use her as the top of an altered book. What ever I do I promise I will share, but for now I will just ponder on it.
I covered the frame in WOW Metallic Copper, regular WCO2R-L, and to make my frame more solid I double embossed it. Double embossing is you apply your first layer and then reapply your versa mark and added another layer of embossing powder. You can miss the middle step if you are creating a small embellishment and simply pour embossing powder of it while it is still hot. But because this frame is large I chose to add the versa mark.
For my butterfly I wanted to incorporate the copper into the actual image. I wanted to be suttle so I added a tiny amount of WOW Copper foil to the edges of my butterflies.
I also added foil to the cogs
For this project I did A LOT of fussy cutting. I have used 3 of the same image and layered them on top of each other so it looked like the lady was sitting on the frame.
Here you can see the layers, I love doing this. I can fussy cut for hours, wee tip for fussy cutting is use a really SHARP pair of scissors and wiggle your fingers ever so often.
I have another project that I created for a design team swap a while back which fits into this challenge
I have used Graphic 45 again here, but this time I added white embossing powders to the chip board, you can find the fully project here.
Well I hope I have inspired you to go find some supplies and create for this months challenge. You still have a few days left.
Take care and Happy Scrappin xox Donna
