Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW! This month's challenge theme is Fab Foils, and I couldn't resist combining Fab Foils with fireworks! Fireworks look great on dark cardstock, but stamping won't look so great. However, foil just pops off of black cardstock so foils and Fireworks are a match made in heaven. And yes, you can foil stamps with the aid of WOW! Bonding powder. So let's get started!!
Fab Foiled Fireworks Video Tutorial:

Fab Foiled Fireworks Written Tutorial:
Start off by trimming down to panels of black cardstock to fit on a slim-line card. One of these was trimmed down to add a little variation in the size of the panel.
Next, position the first layer of fireworks from the Catherine Pooler 'Sparkle & Pop' stamp set onto a card panel and stamp these in WOW! Bonding powder. In order to foil the stamped image, heat set the bonding powder with your dual speed heat gun. Whilst the image is still tacky - bonding powder melts and becomes tacking, cover with a colour of Fab foil of your choosing.
Make sure the bonding powder isn't too hot when you burnish the foil in - 1, you want to be careful of you fingers, and 2, if it is still a little hot it may move and smudge under the pressure when you burnish it.
For this first card, the Fab Foil colours used were: Blush, Rose Gold, Copper and Silver.
Once the first layer of fireworks is stamped, reposition the card panel into your MISTI and place the second layer of fireworks over the first layer. Again, stamp and emboss this layer with bonding powder.
Once more, cover with foil, burnish this on and then peel to reveal the foiled designs. The colours of Fab Foil used on this second card are Violet, Teal, Ice Blue and Silver.
In addition, stamp and foil some of the smaller stamps from the set including the stars, foiling these in silver. To add more stars to the sky, splatter a couple of different colours from the Gansai Tambi Starry Watercolour palette onto the card panels.
To finish the cards off, add a few sentiments from the Altenew Sentiment Strips stamp set, or a Cheers die cut along with a smaller secondary stamp set. In addition, add a few Chalkstick Vintage Nuvo drops to embellish the cards.

The fireworks lend themselves brilliantly to the use of foil Verity, and love the look of the spattering to depict a starry night sky
