Happy Birthday with Isha Gupta

Hello everyone. Hope you are enjoying our October FB Challenge "Sparkle and Shine". This is one of my favorite themes and WOW! has lots of various powders to add all the sparkle and shine :)

I started by die-cutting the Delicate Mandala die by Altenew three times. I then applied the WOW! Clear Embossing ink by simply, dabbing the ink pad directly over the die-cut.

Sprinkle the WOW! Peppermint Scrub powder inspired by Catherine Pooler. (Tip: Shake the powder well before sprinkling as it has some foil, ultra high embossing powder mixed with the colored powder and glitter) This embossing powder is part of the Bundled Up Trio. Heat set it using the WOW! dual heat tool.

Adhere the die-cut to the white layer. Flick some gold paint. Die-cut the word "HAPPY" using Memory Box Happy Jotted Script die. Dab clear ink to the word and sprinkle Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder. Heat set, repeat the process. Adhere this to the happy shadow.

Die-cut a vellum circle using Heffy Doodle Stitched Circle dies. Stamp the sentiment using clear ink and emboss using Opaque Bright White embossing powder. Heat set. Assemble everything and adhere to a dark pink card base.

Hope you liked my creation. Have a nice day!

Handy Stamp Storage Idea

Hello everyone... Happy Tuesday! :D

It's Sarah here with today's blog post created for our Monochromatic theme.

I don't know about you, but I always find I need to use stamps from a mixture of stamp sets and I thought it would be easier if I didn't have to slide each stamp set in and out of the packets all of the time.

I have a bunch of empty CD cases that I had almost thrown out but thankfully I hadn't as they turned out to be the perfect solution! The part that holds the CD easily popped out so I could then position my different stamp sets within them.

I found an old wooden CD box but it had no lid and as all clear acrylic stamps are best stored out of the light, I decided I would make a box lid for it... not just a plain lid though... a Wow Embossed box lid!

Here are brief instructions on how to make it:

Using pearl silver card, I created a square to the size that I needed (145mm) and added 30mm wide rectangles around the square adding in some t…
