Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW! Do you love to create backgrounds, but want some new to try? Well, why not change up your backgrounds with WOW! Changers. This set of three powders can easily change up one powder to create 3 more, adding more shine, sheen and texture to your papercrafts. I used all three changes on this fun modern Christmas card to create a bold background for your Christmas dies and stamps to sit on!

Trim a white card panel down to 4.5" x 3.25 and use a ruler and pencil to divide the panel up into 5 horizontal stripes. Mask of the bottom strip with Heffy Doodle Memo Tape. 
Using a metal spatula, mix equal ratios of WOW! Primary Pink Robin Embossing powder with WOW! Texture Changer in an empty WOW! Embossing Powder pot. Make sure you use metal tools and not plastic to prevent adding static to your powders. Ensure you close the lid and shake well to mix the powders up. Repeat this using two other empty pots to mix Primary Pink Robin with Sheen and Glisten.
Smoosh your WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Ink Pad down over the stripped area your have masked over and cover with your Texture Primary Pink Embossing power. Next, heat set with your dual speed heat gun - you may wish to repeat this 2-3 times layering up the stripe for a bold consistent layer.
After the first stripe is complete, move the masking tape to mask off the next strip and repeat adding embossing ink. Cover this stripe with Glisten Primary Pink Robin embossing mix. This will give a light glitter Primary Pink Robin. Repeat this for the next strip, instead using the Sheen Primary Pink Robin embossing mix. This will give a pearlescent sheen to the Primary Pink Robin. Lastly, add one more stripe of embossing just using the Primary Pink Robin as itself.
Foam mount this embossed panel onto a white card panel. Next, die-cut a bauble out of cardstock heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder. I heat emboss the cardstock first before die-cutting when using a delicate die like this.
Add a small amount of black ribbon to the top of the bauble and then adhere to the embossed panel with liquid adhesive. It is best to use liquid adhesive on a textured surface like this. A sentiment from the Altenew Happy Holiday stamps set onto black card with WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder.
Finish off the card by foam mounting the sentiment onto the card panel and add sequins to embellish the card.
