Jeweled Christmas Baubles with Karen Reategui

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing this Christmas Slim card featuring the Christmas Baubles Stamp Set from WOW! Embossing Powder and WOW! Metallic Silver Embossing Powder. This card is also part of my DT inspiration for the WOW! Monthly Challenge at Facebook fan page. Don't forget to enter your creations for a chance to win a gift card to WOW! Store.

Let's shine! I started this card by stamping the baubles onto white cardstock using WOW! Embossing Pad and then I heat embossed them with WOW! Metallic Silver Embossing Powder. I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment "Merry Christmas" from the same stamp set.

Next, I colored all the images using shades of blue and red. I thought these colors would go great with the metallic silver and the jewels. Additionally, I die cut this bauble background using Pinkfresh Studio Slim Stitched Rectangle Die Set. Using the same die I die cut another rectangle a bit larger out of light blue cardstock. I glued the larger rectangle behind the background with the baubles.

I applied on each bauble Clear Wink of Stella and glitter glue to add more shine.

Then, I added some red and blue iridescent jewels around the baubles and they look like jeweled christmas ornaments. I absolutely love the look of these baubles with all that shine and sparkle.

Finally, I put some Nuvo Drops for some dimension and a more interesting look around the baubles. A folded slim card was adhered at the back using glue and this christmas card was done. I really hope you like all the details on this card and give this stamp a try. Have a fantastic weekend.

Your friend, Karen

Handy Stamp Storage Idea

Hello everyone... Happy Tuesday! :D

It's Sarah here with today's blog post created for our Monochromatic theme.

I don't know about you, but I always find I need to use stamps from a mixture of stamp sets and I thought it would be easier if I didn't have to slide each stamp set in and out of the packets all of the time.

I have a bunch of empty CD cases that I had almost thrown out but thankfully I hadn't as they turned out to be the perfect solution! The part that holds the CD easily popped out so I could then position my different stamp sets within them.

I found an old wooden CD box but it had no lid and as all clear acrylic stamps are best stored out of the light, I decided I would make a box lid for it... not just a plain lid though... a Wow Embossed box lid!

Here are brief instructions on how to make it:

Using pearl silver card, I created a square to the size that I needed (145mm) and added 30mm wide rectangles around the square adding in some t…
