Happy Wednesday and I hope you all had a wonderful Easter celebration. Ericka Strange aka Strangely Creative here today with a embossed mandala card.
I love this beautiful Mandala die from Altenew and thought that the Trio Gemstone with Midnight Dream would be the perfect colors.
I started by die cutting the mandala from Neenah white cardstock. I then used a foam blending too and WOW! Embossing ink pad and dabbed the ink on to the portion of the die I wanted to emboss first. I made sure to apply a generous amount of powder and then heat set it.
When there were spots that needed additional embossing powder, I took a paint brush and the Embossing Ink Refill and added more ink and powder to the area to ensure full coverage.
I repeated these steps with each color Sunflower, Tanzenite and Aquamarine and added Midnight Dream for my forth color.
I added this sentiment from the Altenew Bad Days Happen set and heat embossed it in white. I wanted the sentiment to stand out a little more and added a layer that I embossed with Sunflower powder.
I love the bright sparkle and shine these beautiful embossing powders add to my card.
