Triple embossed sentiments with Ashlee

Hey everyone...

Ashlee here today to share with you an easy way to create multiple matching cards with triple embossed sentiments!!

I wanted to create a matching set of cards that would be simple to create multiples of but still look effective so I grabbed the awesome background stamp Angled squares by Catherine Pooler along with my WOW opaque white embossing powder, started creating and this is what I came up with.

COMBO 1 - Aquatini CP ink with WOW Curacao powder from the Aquatini trio

COMBO 2 - Flirty Fuchsia CP ink with WOW Wink embossing powder from Flirty Fuchsia trio

STEPS :
- Cut card base to desired size and stamp the background stamp using the WOW embossing pad
- Cover in opaque white embossing powder, tip off excess and replace back into the container
- Heat set using your WOW dual heat gun

- Using your selected colour ink pads blend over the embossing with an ink blending tool until your happy with the desired effect

- Die cut your sentiment using cardstock and cover the whole area using WOW embossing ink
- heat set and once cooled repeat the embossing steps two more times (place the embossed piece back into your embossing pad and cover in powder, heat set again)

This is fabulous technique to use to get wonderful glossy raised sentiments for your cards!!

Here's a look at all of the fabulous crafty goodies used to create these matching cards....

I hope you have enjoyed this set of cards as I have really enjoyed creating them for you.
Thanks so much for looking at my posts as a guest for WOW, I've had an absolute blast!!

Happy crafting, Ashlee.

  1. That background stamp is a beauty Ashlee and both bright colours look great, and finished perfectly with both the large die cut and stamped sentiments. x
