Delicate Flutterings

Hello crafty friends, I hope you've all had a productive month and have been inspired  the gorgeous makes that the WOW DT have made so far. I'm a huge fan on the resist technique so I really enjoyed making my inspiration card this month.

I wanted a really delicate look to my card so I started with a small sentiment in the bottom right corner which I embossed with Primary Bark Powder. I then used the Mariposa stamp with Opaque Bright White powder to create the background design. I then rubbed distress ink gently over the design.

I sprinkled a little Iris powder over the background design then heated from underneath to add extra texture and colour. I then stamped and embossed three butterflies on squares of white card then rubbed a contrasting distress ink over the top.

After attaching the squares with foam pads I then added some small dots of PVA around the background then sprinkled Pumpkin Spice Sparkles on top before melting with a heat tool.

The result is a delicate design with a hint of a sparkle, I hope you like it!

Enjoy the challenge,

Here's all the lovely stuff Sarah used on her fab card !!
