Covered in AWESOMENESS!!!!!

So we have done it again ladies! Covered in Glitter has added more beautiful projects to add to the amazing projects the other WOW Design Team members have previously posted!!

This time around I took a 12x12 canvas and used the WOW Demask stamp to create a background using the pepper wow powder. I then used letter stickers from the Authentique for the wording in the project! I embossed the flowers and created the floral stem. I really wanted to create a pretty but calm background to bring all the focus and attention to the picture because it was such a touching moment captured.

And here is Tina McDonald!!
I used corrugated cardboard as a stamp. I dipped it in Helmar's Acid Free glue and stamped around my page. I then sprinkled WOW Skyline Grey embossing powder and heated. Then I stamped around the page with the Gratitude heart border stamp and embossed using WOW Whirly Pop! Together, this created a fun and grungy page! Then, to top it off, I grabbed some old cheap metal thingies that I got at the dollar store! I embossed them using WOW Cotton Candy! Then I sanded them and inked them a bit to give them a distressed look! Do they ever give a pop of color to the page! Thanks for looking!

Here is Lara!!

And of course Donna OLeary!!
Hi everyone, Donna here. I have had been having some fun with WOW Embossing Powders again. This is what I came up with. I love how you can use the Bay Area Blue Regular embossing powder which is translucent and the color from underneath can come threw a bit. I have also used Skyline Grey Puff which has given the clogs some awesome texture. Thanks for stopping by.

And Sesil Cratin!!
Attached is a quick tag I was able to make.
I embossed a doily and used the embossing powder on my sentiment.
I used Cotton Candy and Bubble Gum.

And last but not least Ilene Tell!!
I made a card for our DT feature. I used the "Gratitude" stamp set for the sentiment, and a mask and "Suzy West Collection - Cotton Candy Regular" glitter for the hummingbird.

Life's A Beach

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you're all well and getting very creative this month!
As this month's challenge is summer and I live on an island it seemed only natural that my inspiration card would feature sea and sand.
To create my beach scene I started off with a piece of pale blue card and a rubbed a Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad across the top several times. I then sprinkled WOW Peppermint Tea Powder and Under The Sea Glitter over the top, tapped off the excess and melted with a heat tool. I created the sand underneath using Gold Pearl Powder.

For the sea I ran a line of PVA glue in the middle of the sky and sand with my finger, sprinkled with Under The Sea Glitter and melted with a heat tool. For the waves I added small areas of PVA straight from the nib of the bottle when added Opaque White Powder.

The birds and sentiment I have used Opaque British Summer Powder which is one of my favourite new powders, great colour and great name!
Finally, I added beach in…

Handy Stamp Storage Idea

Hello everyone... Happy Tuesday! :D

It's Sarah here with today's blog post created for our Monochromatic theme.

I don't know about you, but I always find I need to use stamps from a mixture of stamp sets and I thought it would be easier if I didn't have to slide each stamp set in and out of the packets all of the time.

I have a bunch of empty CD cases that I had almost thrown out but thankfully I hadn't as they turned out to be the perfect solution! The part that holds the CD easily popped out so I could then position my different stamp sets within them.

I found an old wooden CD box but it had no lid and as all clear acrylic stamps are best stored out of the light, I decided I would make a box lid for it... not just a plain lid though... a Wow Embossed box lid!

Here are brief instructions on how to make it:

STEP ONE

Using pearl silver card, I created a square to the size that I needed (145mm) and added 30mm wide rectangles around the square adding in some t…

IT WASN'T EASY…...

But we did it…..

We managed to choose two fabulously talented ladies out of all the entries we received in our recent Design Team Call and oh boy did we get some entries…. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!

It was so hard choosing, there's some seriously creative people out there !!!!

So… who are they ? I hear you ask !!

In no particular order, well, it's alphabetical really, that seemed the fairest way :) :)

We have the FABULOUS Jo Herbert, Jo is sharing her creativity all the way from Australia.

They both have a fabulous style, we wouldn't have chosen them otherwise ;) ;) and we're sure you're going to be inspired by them as you are with our other fabulous DT Girlies… #wehavethebestdesignteam
