Hello lovelies,
I layered the elements and completed the coins with a sentiment and splatter.
Hope you're doing well!
Aditi here and I'm back with a mixed media off the page project for you all. Today, I'm creating a set of Artist Trading Coins. They are similar to Artist Trading Cards, but are circles. I like working with a variety of shapes and bases.
Today I had in mind, something cute and adorable. Here's a look at them.
They are vibrant in the theme, and they make me smile.
For my colour mediums today, I've used distress inks. I began by blending ink on the circles lighty. I then went in with a brighter colour through a stencil, and while the ink was wet I embossed it with Clear Gloss Embossing Powder. This gave me an organic dimensional background.
I stamped the focal elements with WOW clear slow drying embossing ink and heat set them with Primary Ebony. That gives my elements a crisp black edge.
I used the same distress inks with a waterbrush and coloured the elements. I then used an embossing pen to add fine details to some of the elements and embossed it with Candles and Oasis powders. This gives them a 3 dimensional look.
I have YouTube Tutorial to create these ATCs. Be sure to head over onto WOW Embossing! YouTube Channel. Click here to go to the YouTube Channel.
