Homemade Glitter Cardstock | Make It WOW with Tasha

Hey Crafty People!

Today I'm Making It WOW! with some homemade Glitter Cardstock and if you shy away from this then I have some tips that will change the game!!!

The trick to avoiding sending a glitterbomb to your recipient is down to QUALITY SUPPLIES.

Strong adhesive and Superfine Sparkles.

1. Cover a panel of white cardstock with strong double sided adhesive and die cut the sentiment using Trio Stitched Birthday Panel (A2) from Heffy Doodle.

2. Peel back the release paper and cover with Silver Essentials Sparkles. Lift the panel and gently, but firmly, tap off the excess.

3. Lay the panel back down and burnish the glitter into the adhesive. (I just use my finger for the best control.) This step is KEY to ensuring you don't have excess glitter fallout later.

4. Back the open sentiment with Black Glossy cardstock and trim the whole panel to 4in x 5.25in.

5. Pop it up onto an a2 card base with foam adhesive.

Totally extra and over the top but that's why I love it so much!

Plus, because the glitter is Superfine, you actually use hardly anything, even on a whole panel so these Sparkles pots are fantastic value!
