Heat Embossing A Die Cut | Brand NEW Embossing Glitters

Hey Crafty People!

It's Tasha here and I just have to check if you've seen the latest powders to hit the WOW Embossing Store?

These GORGEOUS embossing glitters are inspired by Mama Makes and OH.MY.DAYS they are so good!!!

I used them to make a swirling Galaxy on this large, die cut sentiment!

1. Glue together 2-3 die cuts to give yourself a strong base to work from and apply Ultra Slow Drying embossing ink across the whole thing.

TOP TIP! I am absolutely loving using a Brayer to get this done efficiently!

2. Sprinkle over some of your first powders, in selective parts of your die cut, flip it over to remove the excess then repeat with the second powder.

3. Cover the entire die cut with your last powder to make sure that you have eliminated any bare spots.

4. Heat set, from below, to avoid blowing away any of that gorgeous glitter.

5. Once cooled, repeat to add a second layer of marbled powders.

6. Add 2-3 layers of clear embossing powder on top of the embossing glitter. This will really give your die cut an enamel look!

Moving on to the background...

1. Using a double sided adhesive, adhere two panels of mixed media/heavystock cardstock together. Tape a hot foil plate to this and run through your die cutting machine. (You will need to test your machine to get the ideal sandwich, but it will certainly need a thinner sandwich than you would usually use.)

2. After debossing with this plate, take a Gold pigment ink pad and gently swipe it across the surface; this will bring out the pattern even more because it will only pick up ink on the raised pieces. It works so well!!! 🤩

3. Adhere your embossed die cut to this panel and add a foiled sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments pack.
