Hey Crafty People!
It's Tasha, and I'm back on the blog with some inspiration using some of the products from our new release!
One of the things from this release that excited me the most is the Time Traveller Trio; the colours are beautiful, for sure but that's not what excited me the most!
This Trio is our first ever set of all Superfine embossing powders!!!
If you haven't tried our Superfine powders then you are in for such a treat!!!
They are perfect for catching all of those really fine details in your images and for the finest of sentiments!
I decided to test them out on this gorgeous floral stamp from Pinkfresh Studio to create a slimline card that pops with colour!
1. Stamp the large image in WOW embossing ink and add a mix of Sunbeam and Royal Purple from the new Time Traveller Trio. (Check out my quick Reel/TikTok/Short video to see how I did that bit!)
Heat set the entire image.
2. Quickly & easily colour the whole image using the coordinating stencils and Catherine Pooler inks. Die cut and set aside.
3. Trim an 8.5 x 3.5inch panel of Neenah 80lb and ink blend yellow onto the panel, using the die cut floral to guide where you should put the ink. Allow the colour to fade off to white as it gets further from the image. Use foam adhesive to pop up the floral onto the backing panel.
4. Emboss a sentiment from the same stamp set in the other colour from the trio, Fossil and die cut. Add 2 more die cuts for added dimension and adhere this to the card panel.
5. Embellish with clear, sparkling sequins.
Thank you for spending this time with me, and I hope that you like the card!
I hope that you have a lovely, happy, safe & wonderful week!
Stay Crafty!
Byeee!

Such a pretty large chrysanthemum Tasha and I love the way you have used a slimline card so it is only a partial stmping and the colours are so bright and pretty. I always try to use superfine powders if I can as they are great for use with intricate stamps and sentiments, but work equally well for any embossing you do. x
