Sparkle & Shine | Mixed Media Card

Hej and welcome!
Martina here with another Sparkle and Shine Reel on the WOW Embossing IG Channel.

When I have been thinking of todays post, I couldn't stop thinking of layers and colours - that's why we are ending up with this Mixed Media beauty today.
It is - as always - easier to watch the Reel to follow the steps but here they are written down:

Cut a piece of Mixed Media Paper and add some stamping with black, waterproof ink.
Then stamp with another stamp, using the WOW Embossing Pad.
Apply WOW "Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder" to the freshly stamped areas and heat set it.

I have then applied some Texture Paste thoug a stencil and poured "Midnight" and "Metallic Gold Rich" over the still wet Texture Paste. This gives, after the heat setthing, another kind of resist to the colours, I have then been painting onto the card.

Then it was just splatters and adding some Embossing Powders to Alexandra Renke die cuts.

The leaves are embossed with Metallic Gold Sparkle, the lock has Metallic Gold Rich and Pea Coat elements.
