Creative Guest - Rachel Walton | Sparkly Leaves

Hello everyone! Today is my last post blog post as July's creative guest - I have loved creating for you and I hope you have enjoyed my posts.

For today's make, I decided to use one of the amazing new trio's - Frosted Jewels by the incredible Jo Herbert. These colours are seriously gorgeous!

I embossed some cardstock with both Antique Gold and Antique Rose powders before cutting out my leaves. I also cut out a tag and used a floral cover plate die on it to create a base for the leaves.

I then started to assemble my card, I adhered the tag with foam tape for dimension and then started layering the leaves on top. Once I was happy with my placement, I decided to cut some leaves out of vellum for some more texture. I finished off with a Happy Birthday sentiment.
