Hello, crafty friends!
It is Natalia with you again today. I am back with another card I made using this absolutely stunning cut file from Alex Syberia Design.
Let's dive into the details!:
I started off by stamping the beautiful WOW! Foliage Background stamp using Seaglass from the Concord & 9th ink cubes onto white cardstock. I really like this background stamp and I am sure I will use it in multiple occasions with many different techniques - it's so pretty!!
For the flower, I used the Beautiful Peony digital cut file designed by the lovely Alex Syberia. I cut this from white cardstock 2 times. I also ink blended 2 panels, one in greens and one in reds, and cut the flower from those too. I actually did an inlay technique, where the negative coloured pieces go into the main die-cut flower. This technique is time-consuming, but so worth it and therapeutic!
For the last layer of the flower outline, I used Frosted Glass embossing powder - it is such a mesmerising effect, I absolutely love it!
Making the sentiment was super fun! I chose it from a Time for Tea Designs sentiments card and because it's printed with toner, I was able to foil it - if you haven't tried it, you must! All you need is a laminator and some of the beautiful WOW! fab foils. For this sentiment, I used the Gold one. You don't need the bonding powder for images printed with a toner printer; simply put your foil, shinny side up onto your image and put it inside a folded piece of printer paper. Run it through your laminator and voila! Foil is hard to photograph, but I can tell you - it's so amazing in real life!
To finish my card, I added some gems from My Little Things from Lucy's cards and mounted my panel onto an A2 size white background, using fun foam for dimension.
I hope you like this card as much as I do!
Sending hugs,
Natalia
