Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW! I'm starting of my video posts for WOW! called Technique Tuesday by showing you how to combine your embossing folders with heat embossing. This is such a fun technique but at the same time so easy. So in no time, you'll know how to combine heat embossing with embossing folders. Grab your ink, powder and heat gun and let's get started!

This first technique applies the ink before with dry emboss. Lightly drag your WOW! Clear Ultra Slow dry embossing ink pad over the side of the embossing folder that will deboss into the card. The folder I'm using for this card is the Link Ovals Embossing folder from Altenew.
Place a piece of white card inside the folder and run this through your die-cutting machine setup for embossing folders. Once removed from the folder, cover the panel with Cerulean Embossing glitter from the Indulgence Trio.
Heat set from behind - if you need to touch up any areas, use the WOW! embossing pen to fill in the gaps and cover with powder again. Trim this card down and foam mount onto a white card base.
To finish this card off, add a foiled Happy sentiment using the PinkFresh Studio Brushed Sentiments hot foil plate. In addition, add a couple of sentiments heat embossed in gold from the Happy Sentiments and Happy Birthday Sentiments stamp set. Lastly, embellish with a few iridescent sequins.
This second technique adds the ink after we have dry embossed. Run a piece of Paradise Hero Hues cardstock through your die-cutting machine with the Geo Diamonds 3D embossing folder from Altenew.
Next, using your ink pad again, lightly drag the pad over the cardstock with the raised side. Make sure you don't apply too much pressure as we only want the ink don't the raised areas.
Cover this with Peacoat Embossing glitter from the Indulgence trio and heat set. Trim this down to add to a white card base.
To finish this card off, add another sentiment from the Brushed Sentiments foil plate and add a gold heat embossed the sentiment from the Love Sentiments stamp set.
Lastly, embellished with Matt gold sequins.
