Tutorial & Video
Hello again and welcome to this blog post, I have had the pleasure of being WOW! Embossing's Mixed Media Creative Guest of the month and have shared with you 3 projects that I hope you have liked. This is my fourth and final project as guest, read along for a brief written tutorial of how I made these three tags but I recommend you view the video tutorial below for all the details step by step. As before All WOW! products used linked or mentioned below.

Ok lets get started! For this project I began with a wooden tag I had laying around. I used it as a template to make two more tags out of balsa wood. I traced the tag and cut it out using an X-Acto craft knife. I cut holes for the ribbons and I then coated all 3 tags with white gesso and heat embossed them using WOW!'s Dual Speed Heat Tool.
For the "Be Joyful" tag I used the Starry Night stencil to add some stars using Ranger's crackle paste, then I added Karin's Dream embossing Powder to give a distressed golden shine to the stars. Once dried I dusted some Lindy's Guten Tag Teal powder and sprayed water to get that teal colored background. Using Archival black ink I added some script with a small stamp in random places on the tag, colored and embossed the flourish background diecut with the same 2 colors used in the tag and glued all embellishments in place. I stamped the Be Joyful sentiment with the WOW! Embossing Pad, and heat embossed Bonding Powder so that I could use the Snowy White Fab Foil for the sentiment. I used a piece of WOW's Superior Smooth White Cardstock cut slightly bigger than the size of the cardstock used for the sentiment and again used the teal powder with water to get the same color as background and glued the sentiment onto it. Added the sentiment to it and glued the sentiment onto the tag. Then I added some mini art stones using Ranger's Multi Medium Matte.

For the "Be Glad" tag I heat embossed the Foliage Background Bold stamp using Rose Glintz embossing powder. Once heat set I sprayed Lindy's Oom Pah Pah Pink Magical Shaker powder and sprayed the tag with water to activate the color. Then as with the Be Joyful tag I added some script with a small stamp in random places, glued on the embellishments, added some mini art stones and again embossed the sentiment with Bonding Powder so that I could use the Ice Blue Fab Foil on it.
For the "Be Blessed" tag I heat embossed the Scrunch background stamp using Bark embossing powder. Once heat set I sprayed Ranger's Distress Oxide Spray, the Spun Sugar color and sprayed the tag with water to activate the color. Then as with the previous tags I added some script with a small stamp in random places. I embossed some diecuts with Earthtone Honey, some with Bark, added white gesso to some embellishments then sprayed with Spun Sugar, I heat embossed the rings with Karin's Dream embossing Powder added some mini art stones and again embossed the sentiment with Bonding Powder so that I could use that beautiful pink foil called Blush.
Once I glued all embellishments down and added the sentiments, I added the mini art stones and then cut a piece of black ribbon for each that I tied at the top. That's it! These were pretty simple to make.
