Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW! One way to use WOW! Sparkles glitter is to create your own glitter paste. This is a great technique to make no shed glitter cards as the Sparkles is bound by the paste medium. Of course, I've used one the WOW! Sparkles Essentials colours, but you can choose any colour you like and as many colours as you like! You can create your own custom blend of glitter paste, so get creative! Create your own Sparkle paste written Tutorial:
Position the Confetti Heart Stencil over a white card base, keeping in place with either washi tape or repositionable tape. Next, on a non-porous surface such as a glass mat, add some Textured Paste -Transparent matte with a spatula onto the mat.
Add and mix into the paste WOW! Copper Fire Sparkles. Make sure you add enough for good coverage of the sparkles but do not add too much as you still want a fairly wet mixture. If you add too much sparkles, it will become hard to mix and dry.
Next, apply your homemade glitter paste through the openings of the Confetti Heart Stencil. Once you had complete cover the stencil design, remove the stencil and clean this along with the spatula to prevent any excess paste drying on your stencil.
Once the paste has dried, stamp in Black Oynx Versafine ink the script 'Happy' from the A7 Happy Sentiments stamp set. In addition, heat emboss a small sentiment from the stamp set in WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder onto black cardstock.
Finish the card by foam mounting the sentiment onto the card.
