Confetti Circle Window Die-cut card (WOW! Embossing Trio with Erica, Daniel and Verity )

Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW! Did you catch the fun Live featuring the first WOW! Trio: Erica, Daniel and myself last week? Well, don't worry if you missed it as you can catch the replay here and on YouTube. We got out the new Confetti Circle stencil along with some embossing powders and a new sentiment stamp set to create some fun window die-cut cards.

For this card, die-cut a circle similar size to the circle in the Confetti Circle stencil out of a white card panel and card base. Make sure the card panel is 1/4" smaller than the card base, and your circle's line-up. I explain how to do this in the video above!

Position the Confetti Stencil over the circle die-cut on your card panel and sponge through WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying embossing ink through the stencil. For this first card, cover with Carnival Embossing glitter from the Fairground Trio. 

After heat setting this, reposition the stencil over this, rotating the stencil so the confetti overlaps one another. Cover this with Gold embossing powder and heat set. 

For the sentiment, ink blend a similar ink colour onto the die-cut circles left over from the circle windows we created. For this card, I used Juniper Mist and Daydream ink. Ensure this is dry before heat embossing one of the script sentiments from the new release A7 7entiment stamp sets. 

The Thank you was heat embossed in gold. In addition, stamp two smaller sentiments onto thin strips of card stock. Adhere one of these to the back of the card panel through the circle die-cut window. Now, adhere this to the card panel, foam mounting this on and aligning with the cardbase. 

Lastly, adhere the ink blended circle die-cut onto the card base aligned with the die-cut window. You can then align the second sentiment strip behind this inside the card base to create a new sentiment inside the card. 

This card was created in the same way but uses a different colourway. I used the Petalicious embossing glitter from the new English Garden Trio for the colour of embossing powder. 

For the ink blending, I blend Pucker-up Catherine Pooler designs onto the white circle die-cut. 

The sentiments from the Happy Sentiment A7 stamp set. and were heat embossed in gold and stamped in the same corresponding colour of ink.
