Create a seasatonial sparkling scene!

Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW! For todays blog post, I have one fun sparkly background scene using a whole host of WOW! Sparkles. Hopefully this will inspire you with this months challenge theme: Colours of the Scene. Remember to Tag WOW! and use the hastag #wowembossingchallenge, or enter your card in the WOW! Create a seasatonial sparkling scene written Tutorial:

Start off by trimming down a piece of Altenew Double-sided adhesive sheet down to 1/4" smaller than an A5 cardbase. Next, with a pencil, draw a simple sea scene similar to the one below. 

Use your scissors to cut up this adhesive sheet where you have drawn all your lines. Now, remover one side of the backing paper and adhere down onto a white cardbase. Do this for the whole background, making sure you take the backing off the same side of the sheet.

Now, only remove the other side of the backing of one section of your sea scene. Cover this with WOW! Sparkles and burnish the glitter into the adhesive to ensure it adheres down. The WOW! Sparkles used were from top to bottom:

Crystal Essential Sparkles

Stingray Earth Sparkles

Seahorse Sparkles

Crushed Ice Sparkles

Mai Thai Earth Sparkles

And Mola Mola Sparkles in between the waves. 

After the background panel was complete, this was adhere to a white cardbase. Next, 3 fish clusters from the Hero Arts 'Need A Hand' stamp set was heat embossed in Platinum onto vellum. These were coloured with an orange alcohol maker on the back and fussy cut out. 

Small dabs of glue were added to the back of the fishes and adhere the the card base. The card was finished with a heat embossed sentiment and a few white Nuvo drops!
