Sparkling Fall Foliage Birthday Cards with Larissa!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!

Larissa here today to share some STUNNING Fall Foliage Birthday Cards!! I LOVE Fall in fact its my FAVORITE time of the Year!! I really ENJOY decorating the outside and inside of my Home for the Fall Season/Holidays!! It makes me HAPPY to see ALL of the Fall Colors together and Shinning with such Beauty in the Fall Sunlight!! That's what Sparked the Design for my Cards today!! The way that the Fall Colors Sparkle in the Sunlight!!

I Started my Cards today by using a Fall Foliage Background Stamp and Stencil Combo from Taylored Expressions!! I LOVE being able to combine my WoW Embossing Powders along with my Stamp and Stencil Sets to step up the Design!!

For the First Card Panel I Stamped with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and then Embossed with the Sparkling Sand Embossing Glitter Powder from the WoW! Trio Dockside by Jo Firth-Young!!

Next I Placed the Stencil #1 over the Embossed Design and Inked with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I Inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink to add some Shading to the bottom of the Leaves!!

I then placed the Stencil #2 and Inked with Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I Inked with Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide Ink to add some Shading!!

Then I placed Stencil #3 and Inked with Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I Inked with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink to add some Shading to the bottom of the Leaves!!

SWOON!! Check out the finished results!! The Color options are ENDLESS and you can choose to use either Pigment or Dye Inks to get different results!! I just LOVE how STUNNING that WoW Embossing Sparkling Sand Powder is with those Colorful Leaves!!

For the next Card Panel I wanted to Ink with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and I Embossed with WoW Embossing Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!!

I Placed Stencil #1 and Inked with Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I inked with Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Ink to add some Shading to the bottom of the leaves!!

Then I placed Stencil #2 and Inked with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I inked with Pine Needles Distress Oxide Ink to add shading to the bottom of the Leaves!!

Then I Placed Stencil #3 and Inked with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I Inked with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink to add shading to the bottom of the Leaves!!

Next I wanted to show how you can also Stamp and Emboss on your Colored Cardstocks!! I chose Kraft, but the options are Endless with this technique!! Even Black would be STUNNING!! I used the exact same colors as the previous Panel, just applying it to the Kraft Embossed Cardstock to show how the exact same Colors can have a completely different look depending on the Cardstock Base you choose to use!!

I placed Stencil #1 over the Embossed Stems and Inked with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I Inked with Pine Needles Distress Oxide Ink to add shading to the bottom of the leaves!!

I Placed Stencil #2 over the Embossed Stems and Inked with Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I Inked with Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Ink to add shading to the bottom of the Leaves!!

Finally I Placed Stencil #3 over the Embossed Stems and Inked with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink!!

Then I Inked with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink to add shading to the bottom of the Leaves!!

SWOON!! Here's a look at all of the finished Panels!! Just look at the differences!! By changing both the Embossing Powder that you use along with the Ink Colors you really have ENDLESS possibilities with this FUN Stamp and Stencil Combo!! Plus, just by changing out the Sentiment you could use this set Year Round!! Think Thank You Cards, Holiday Cards and even just Thinking of You Cards too!!

Next I created the Frames for my Design using the Taylored Expressions Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate!! I used the Largest Frame Die!! I Cut Two Frames from TE Poblano Pepper Cardstock and One Frame from Raspberry Sorbet Cardstock!!

Then I Cut Down the Embossed and Inked Panels using the Taylored Expressions Stitched Rectangle Die Set!!

For the Sentiment for my Cards I Die Cut some Taylored Expressions Stitched Circle Dies from both White and Kraft Cardstock and then I Inked with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink on one of the White Circles, and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Ink on the other 2 Circles!! I also Die Cut some Larger Circles to use as Frames from TE Poblano Pepper Cardstock and Raspberry Sorbet Cardstock!!

I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiments from the Taylored Expressions Every Birthday Stamp Set onto the Inked Stitched Circle Die Cuts after using an Anti-Static Tool!! I Stamped with WoW Embossing Ink and then Embossed with the WoW Embossing Sparkling Sand Powder and Heat Set it using my WoW Embossing Dual Speed Embossing Tool!!

SWOON!! Here's a Close up look at those Embossed Sentiments!! Just look at that Sparkle and Shine!! I LOVE nothing more than an Embossed Sentiment!!

I adhered the Embossed and Inked Panels onto the Frames and added them to the Cardbases using some Fun Foam for Dimension!! Then I adhered the Sentiment Circles using Foam Tape and I just LOVE the way these turned out!!
