WOW! Changers with Stencils

Happy Friday! Ericka here with a Christmas card I made using the New Visible Image Christmas Stencils with WOW! Changers.

Have you had a chance to play with the WOW! Changers? If not you really should as it adds a variety of different looks to your embossing powder stash, which, in my book, is always a good thing. For my card, I started by blending Distress Oxides ink in Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire. 

I then added the Visible Image Christmas Eve stencil with texture paste. I used the Black Glint Embossing Powder with the WOW! Changer Texture and Glisten to make my embossing powder more glittery with a fun texture. I also used the texture paste for Santa and his sleigh and added the Midnight Dream embossing powder with the WOW! Changer Glisten.

 

Once the texture paste was dry I used my heat tool to emboss the powder. I also decided to use the Visible Image Iconic Christmas Stencil to add a moon and stars to the sky.  I wanted a golden moon but not too bright so I mixed the WOW! Metallic Gold with some Bright White and WOW! Changer in Glisten. I might be addicted to making new color combos, it is so fun to experiment.

 I added a little embossing ink with my gold mixture to the top of Santa and his reindeer to make it look like the moon light was on them.

I finished my card with the Visible Image Sentimental Christmas and heat embossed it with white.
