I hope you're all keeping well! Today I dove into my stash of WOW! Earth Sparkles and I've created two cards today featuring three different ways to use these on your cards. Earth Sparkles are biodegradable and better for the environment!
You can see the video showing how I created both of these cards in the video below.
My first card is a quick and easy masculine card that uses double sided tape to adhere the Sparkles. I like Be Creative tape as it comes in tons of different widths. These are great for stripes! I grabbed an A2 size panel white cardstock and several rolls of Be Creative tape, and stretched laid them out over the panel, leaving the backing paper on.
I removed the backing paper from the top strip, and poured over my first color of Earth Sparkles over a coffee filter, making sure it was fully coated. I then removed the backing paper from the second strip and poured another color on and so on until all of my strips were coated. I added a simple sentiment from The Stamp Market Lots of Little Words set, stamped in Altenew Obsidian Black ink to finish and mounted it onto a card base. Perfect for a masculine card!
For my next card, I'm first featuring a technique I love - mixing glitter with translucent embossing paste. I used Shrimp Earth Sparkles, mixed with the paste and then stenciled it onto a white A2 size panel using the Lawn Fawn Starry Sky stencil then set it aside to dry.
I grabbed this super cute Unicorn Picnic stamp set and stamped a few clouds and the little unicorn playing on a cloud in Nuvo Black Onyx ink which is alcohol marker safe and then colored them with my Copics, then die cut them out with co-ordinating dies. I also stamped the sentiment in Obsidian ink and heat embossed in WOW! Rich Pale Gold embossing powder and trimmed them out.
As a finishing touch, I added some liquid glue and sprinkled co-ordinating Earth Sparkles over the clouds which I then popped up on foam tape and foam squares.
SO sparkly. I couldn't resist that sentiment!
