Underwater 5 Card Set with Jeannie

Hi crafty friends! My name is Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) and I’m back for my last post as a guest designer for Wow! Embossing Powder. It's been so much fun and exploring these incredible embossing powder colors. I wanted to create a card set for my last post to showcase a bunch of different colors.

I'm using Trinity Stamps' 4 Bar Card Die Set to help me create this card set. I chose between the two largest dies in this set using a variety of shades of blue. Along with the die set, I used a couple of Trinity Stamps' stamp sets: Ocean Reef BuilderMermaid Wishes and Turtlely Awesome along with the stencils, Summer School. The stencil set comes with three different stencils and works so great for different backgrounds for all these different cards. For all the cards, I'm using WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad to stencil in the backgrounds. Let's go through each card:

CARD 1
I used the circular  Summer School Stencil along with Oasis embossing powder. I used the mermaid from Mermaid Wishes along with a sentiment.

CARD 2
For this card, instead of stamping and coloring, I decided to stamp the jellyfish from the Ocean Reef Builder set on vellum using Opaque Bright White. Using the wave looking stencil, I heat embossed with Glassy Ocean

CARD 3:
I really wanted to use Sparkling Sand for sand, so I created a card showing the bottom of the ocean.  I swiped WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad at the bottom of the card and covered it in Sparkling Sand. I also used the little school of fish to add three schools with Space Dust. Once I added the octopus and little fishes from the Ocean Reef Builder set, it really brought it all together.

CARD 4
I was inspired to recreate the Australian current from Finding Nemo, so I used the fish stream stencil along with Blue Moon embossing powder. Adding the turtles, from the Turtlely Awesome set, really made me happy because it was exactly what I imagined.

CARD 5
When I completed the turtle card, I wanted to do the same thing with the dolphins. I used Oiled Slate for this one along with the dolphins from Ocean Reef Builder

I worked in an assembly line fashion to create these cards and they came together very quickly.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
