Thankful for embossing powder with Ashlee

Hey everyone...

It's Ashlee here with you today and I have a new card to share that uses the beautiful WOW! Gold pearl embossing powder....

I wanted to do some watercoloring on a floral for this one to fit with the WOW! monthly theme nature so I embossed the UC rose garden image on Uniquely Creative watercolour cardstock with gold pearl!!

To create the base of the card I used watercolour markers to do some stripes of colour...

You can get a smoother blend doing the stripes by drawing some of the watercolour marker ink onto a palette, mixing with water and using a paint brush!!

I think the WOW! gold pearl gives such a lovely subtle colour to the outline of the image along with a pretty shine up against the watercolours....

Here's a close up so you can see just how pretty this powder is!!
