Happy Wednesday and I hope you are having a wonderful week. Ericka Strange aka Strangely Creative here today with a sparkly giraffe card.
I love this gorgeous giraffe from Pink Ink Designs and thought that it would be perfect using the sparkly Tracy Scott Trio Gemstone powders.
The giraffe is a large stamp so I decided to make a slimline card. I started by stamping the giraffe in my MISTI on watercolor paper with embossing ink. I used the MISTI so that I could double stamp and ensure good coverage on the watercolor paper. I used the Tanzenite powder for the giraffe and then stamped the leaves with and heat embossed with Aquamarine powder.
I used a size 12 watercolor brush and painted up the giraffe with a light touch to make sure I didn't cover the embossing powder.
After my first layer of watercolor I decided to go with a deeper blue in order to highlight the beautiful pink in the Tanzenite powder.
I love the amazing sparkle and color these powders have!
I made some glitter paper using the WOW! Embossing ink pad and the Aquamarine powder. I then die cut the Hello sentiment from it and added two layers of plain white die cuts behind it. I wanted the sentiment to stand out so I added vellum to shadow the sentiment.
I love the bright sparkle and shine these beautiful embossing powders add to my card, a sure way to brighten someone's day.

Who wouldn't love this cute giraffe Ericka and the pink sparkly embossing is so pretty as well as the leaves embossed in the beautiful green sparkly powder. I love the watercolouring in yellow and blue which looks great. x
