Rainbow Butterflies with Karen Reategui

Hello friends! Today I’m over WOW! Embossing Powder Blog sharing these two cards featuring Hydrangea, Opaque Bright White, White Twinkle and Ultra Neutral Shimmer WOW! Embossing Powders and this die belongs to Birch Press Designs.

Let’s shine! I started by creating this rainbow panel using LDRS Creative inks and Life Changing Blender Brushes.

Then, I die cut the rainbow panel using the Butterfly Garden Plate Layer Set by Birch Press Designs and saved all the small butterflies for my second card.

Additionally, I die cut the Birch Press Designs Sparkle Butterfly Layer Set out of white cardstock. I glued one layer to the rainbow background and then I heat embossed another layer of the butterfly with WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing Powder and the third layer was heat embossed it with WOW! White Twinkle Embossing Glitter.

I loved the glitter look on top of this butterfly. Finally, for the sentiments I used Small Way to Say Thank You by Picket Fence Studios and I white heat embossed them.

For my second card, I die cut a white panel using one of the layer of the Butterfly Garden Plate Layer Set by Birch Press Designs and added a white card base at the back.

Next, I placed all butterflies that I have saved from the first card and glued them on top along with others small die cuts.

Then, I die cut the Big Thanks Sugar Script die also from Birch Press Designs and heat embossed it using WOW! Hydrangea Embossing Powder. Finally, I added the thanks die on top of the panel as well as the white heat emboss sentiment and my card was done. I really hope this card brings you some happiness and a smile.
