Sparkle & Shine with Gemma

Today I have two clean and simple cards to share, with a graphic style to them. I used the WOW Sparkle & Shine stamp set and embossing glitters to create these cards.

Card 1:
For my first card, I used the triangle image from the Sparkle & Shine stamp set. I repeatedly stamped the image across my card panel, using WOW clear embossing ink.

I then covered the ink with three WOW embossing glitters – Aventurine, White Twinkle and Midnight Dream. These lovely glitter powders are available separately or as part of the Christmas Twist set of 6 powders.

I heat embossed the glitters using the WOW dual speed heat tool. I prefer to heat from the back of the panel when using glitters. Watch the glitters twinkle as the embossing powder melts.

I adhered my card panel onto a white card base, then stamped a sentiment from the Hello Bluebird Typed Everyday stamp set underneath to finish.

Card 2:
My second card is a similar style to the first, but I’ve stepped up the design by using coloured card stock circles.

I stamped a circle from the Sparkle & Shine stamp set onto blue and white card, using WOW clear embossing ink.

I used WOW White Twinkle and Midnight Dream embossing glitters. As these powders are both opaque, they show up really well on the coloured card stock.

I used a Hero Arts Circle Infinity die to cut out the stamped circles, then adhered them across my card base, trimming away the overhang at the edges.

To finish, I stamped another sentiment from the Hello Bluebird Typed Everyday stamp set.

Have a lovely day,

Gemma

  1. I love the more geometric shapes you have used here Gemma, and the colours of the embossed glitter are all scrumptious, especially the three colour combination on the first. Two great cards! x
