Masculine Christmas Cards with Karen Reategui

Hello crafty friends! I’m over WOW! Embossing Powder Blog today sharing these Masculine Christmas cards. For these cards, I created a very neutral look using alcohol inks on the backdrop and for the sentiments I used WOW! Sandcastle embossing glitter and WOW! Black Magic and Metallic Gold embossing powders.

Let’s shine! I started by creating an alcoholic inked background using Ranger Slate and Piñata Gold alcohol inks over Yupo paper. I let it dry and once it’s ready I glued this piece to a black card base.

Next, I die cut the Mega Hope Die from Altenew 4 times, glued one on top of each other and then I heat embossed it with WOW! Sandcastle embossing glitter.

Then, I added the Mega Hope die stacked to the background using glue. Additionally, I stamp two more sentiments using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed them with WOW! Metallic Gold embossing powder. Finally, I arranged all sentiments on top of the card.

For my next card, I also started by creating an alcoholic inked background using Ranger Slate and Piñata Gold alcohol inks over Yupo paper. Once it was dry I glued this piece to a white card base.

Then, I die cut the Mega Hope Die from Altenew 4 times, glued one on top of each other and then I heat embossed it with WOW! Black Magic embossing powder.

Next, I added a white shadow to the Mega Hope die stacked and then I placed it on top of the background using glue. Additionally, I stamp two more sentiments using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed them with WOW! Metallic Gold embossing powder. Finally, I arranged all sentiments on top of the card. The “Merry Christmas” sentiment is from the WOW! Christmas Baubles Stamp Set.

These were my cards for today. I hope I can inspire you to create some masculine Christmas cards for this year. Have a bright and shiny day! See you next time!
