Die Cutting + Heat Embossing with Karen Reategui

Hello shiny friends! Today I’m sharing this encouraging card for a very special friend. I have used WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder, Under The Sea and Sandcastle Embossing Glitter along with Altenew stamp and dies. 

Let’s shine! I started by adhering patterned paper from Altenew to a white card base. Next, I die cut the Leaf Frame Cover Die by Altenew, twice, using white cardstock, then glued them together and placed it on top of the background with glue. 

Then, I die cut the Altenew Virginia Rose 3D Die Set using different colors of cardstock. Some parts were heat embossed using WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder and Under The Sea Embossing Glitter, just to add a bit more of interest and shine. 

I adhered the roses on top of the leaf frame using double sided tape and glue. I also die cut the Mega Blessed Die and applied WOW! Embossing Pad then heat embossed it with WOW! Sandcastle Embossing Glitter.

I heat embossed the sentiment using WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder.

Finally, I added the Mega Blessed word using foam tape and some iridescent jewels around and my card was finished. Hope you found some inspiration and have a shiny and bright day!
