Hey everyone...
Ashlee here with you today and I have a new card to share with you using the super pretty Violet pearl powder....
The pearl powders are so much fun to play with and they work amazing on darker coloured cardstock!!
This card gives you an example of how different the powder looks depending on what colour surface your using.
I stamped the butterfly images from the fluttering by set from Honeybee stamps on the purple cardstock and embossed with Violet pearl...
Using a brayer on some black cardstock I applied WOW! embossing ink all over it, then covered it in Violet pearl so I could use it to die cut the shadow piece for the kind sentiment (Catherine Pooler three of a kind die)!!
How cool is it that the finish is so different on both pieces....
Here's a close up so you can see how pretty it is!!
Using some Opaque bright white powder I heat embossed some little sentiments (Catherine Pooler Kind of wonderful stamp set) and fussy cut them to add to the kind diecut!!
The team is sharing all sorts of ideas/inspiration for you using Pearl powders this month so be sure to check them all out...
Happy crafting everyone, Hugs Ashlee

This is very pretty Ashlee and I love the butterflies and the dotted dp and the darker blue framing the sentiment. A beautiful card. x
