Heat Embossing with Karen Reategui

Hello shiny friends! Today I'm over the WOW! Embossing Powder Blog sharing two cards made with WOW! Opaque Pastel Yellow, Metallic Silver and Soft Mango Embossing Powders. The stamp used is from Altenew.

Let's shine! For the first card I used the Altenew Build-A-Flower Anemone stamps and dies. I stamped the flowers onto WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock with WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed them using WOW! Metallic Silver and Opaque Pastel Yellow embossing powders. I die cut these flowers using the matching dies and also I stamped and die cut some leaves too.

Next, I stamped the Altenew Moroccan Mosaic Stamp with WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it using WOW! Soft Mango embossing powder. I made a diagonal cut and adhered it to a silver shimmer notecard using glue.

Then, I added the flowers and leaves on top using glue and foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from the Altenew More Than Words Stamp set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder.

Finally, I added some yellow jewels and a yellow matching envelope.

For my second card, I stamped the Altenew Rustic Linen Stamp with WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it using WOW! Opaque Pastel Yellow embossing powder, onto Superior Smooth White Cardstock from WOW!

I trimmed down a little bit the edges and added Altenew Citrus Burst ink using a Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brush. Then, I placed it on top of a silver shimmer notecard using glue.

Next, I stamped the flowers from Altenew Build-A-Flower Anemone stamp onto WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock with WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed them using WOW! Metallic Silver and Opaque Pastel Yellow embossing powders. I die cut these flowers using the coordinating dies. I also stamped and die cut some leaves.

Finally, I placed the flowers and leaves on top of the background and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder. As a final touch, I added a few jewels.
