Designer Spotlight - Raluca

WOW! Embossing Powder would like you to get to know our talented designers that little more so we have asked a series of questions that they have answer to share before they blog posts. First up is the very talented Raluca.
Q: What is your favourite thing about crafting?
A: It helps me so much with my anxiety and it makes me feel special

Q:If you could choose to do anything to do for the day, what would it be?
A:Crafting, definitely crafting! Sometimes, I feel that I’m addicted to cardmaking!

Q: Is there any you wish that would come back to into fashion?
A: Nope, not really! I don’t follow the trends in fashion and I’ve always been the kind of gal that wears what’s comfortable and not what’s trendy.

Q: What song would you say would best sums you up?
A: Mariage D'amour by Paul de Senneville

Q:What is your favourite book to read?
A: I have two favorites: "Gone with the Wind", by Margaret Mitchell & "Wuthering Heights", by Emily Brontë

Q: Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
A: Music, I could not go a day without music!

Hi everyone and welcome back to our creative WOW space! Raluca here and I'm so excited to share with you my new CAS card showcasing a beautiful pastel color embossing powder!
I created this card to play along with the "Pastels" theme for the Wow! Embossing Powder Facebook Fan Group page monthly challenge - ❤ WOW Embossing Powder Fans ❤
https://www.facebook.com/groups/WOWEPFans/
I started my card by die cutting a panel from WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock - A5. I absolutely love this cardstock! It's just a smooth, bright white and it's perfect for heat embossing and for coloring with alcohol markers! Definitely a must have in every crafter's stash!
Next I stamped the gorgeous Blossom - Clear Stamp Set using the WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad and heat embossed with the lovely and delicate WG05 First Frost embossing powder.
To add more color, but still keep it Pastel, I colored the center of the flowers with Spectrum Noir markers using soft colors.

For the sentiment I used the Just Saying (by Marion Emberson) - Clear Stamp Set and stamped a sentiment on a light pink banner. I white heat embossed it and added the banner on the panel.
I mounted the panel on a white card base, glued a few clear sequins and my card was done.
Super easy to create and with such a fabulous result!
That's all from me today! Have a lovely week!
