Hi friends! Thank you so much for stopping by today to read up on this blog post. The monthly challenge that is going on over at WOW! Embossing Powder Fans Group over at Facebook is Silver/Gold and I made a card for this blog post that was in line with the challenge requirements.
To start off, I used the Holly Pine die from Hello Bluebird stamps for this card and die some die cutting using Bristol Smooth Cardstock and did some distress ink blending on it using Peeled Paint and Bundled Sage.
I die cut some using regular cardstock and made them into metallic holly by coating them with WOW! Clear Embossing Ink and heat embossing them using the WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale Embossing Powder. I did that twice for each die cut.
I die cut Merry using Aqua cardstock four times and stuck them all together. I coated them with the WOW! Clear Embossing Ink and heat embossed using WOW! Neutal Ultra Shimmer Embossing Powder. Again, I did that twice.
I stamped the images from the North Pole Littles from Hello Bluebird Stamps and colored them in using my copic markers. The bow was cut using red polka dot patterned paper and I added some glitter knot in the centre.
I used a Fog cardstock panel for the background and heat embossed falling snow which is the Falling Snow background stamp from Hello Bluebird stamp using WOW! Clear Embossing Ink and WOW! Opaque Bright White Regular Embossing Powder. The sentiment is from the Snow Play Stamp Set head embossed on Black cardstock again using WOW! Opaque Bright White Regular Embossing Powder.
I mounted all the elements on an A2 sized top folding card base made from Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb cardstock. That is all for this card. I hope you liked it!
Have a wonderful day!
Cheers
Ankita
