I'm not really sure what happened, only a few weeks ago it felt like Summer, but I find myself in November and forced to think of Christmas projects already!! There's nothing like being caught out!
At the end of this month I'll be taking part in a Christmas market so I need quick makes which are easy to do in numbers. I made a start on a design which worked for Christmas cards or tags.
For my background I thought it would be easier to keep to one colour, so I used a Distress Ink blended over the background and two different stamps over the top (a script stamp and trees) again stamped with the same ink.
With this background totally dry, I again used the tree stamp but this time used the Embossing pad so I could use Cloud 9 Embossing powder.
To add to my card front, I stamped a deer and the word Joy using Hot Gossip and Metallic Platinum.
The die cut stars were also given the Cloud 9 treatment.
I think it's going to work well on the tags. Are you going into Christmas market overdrive? Let me know.

This is a wonderful Christmas card Jaine and I love the green background with the trees and script and extra heat embossed trees, and the deer and sentiment added over the top work beautifully. x
