Rose Glintz Floral Card by Jo Herbert

Hi all, Jo here welcome to today's blog post where the theme for this month is "Metallics".

To show case a metallic colour from the Glintz range I have chosen Rose Glintz.  I have to say this colour is just so stunning and looks like liquid pink rose gold when heat embossed.

I have chosen Pink Fresh Studio Floral Fancy Cover Dies 1 & 2.  The bottom layer is the layer which I have coated with the Ultra Slow Drying Clear Embossing Ink by placing the ink pad directly on the cardstock. I pressed fairly hard during this process as I wanted a good layer of ink so the rose glintz was all over the detailed parts of the die cut.  This layer was adhered directly over the top folding white card base.

For the top layer I have also used a white card stock which leaves the Rose glintz peaking through.

The Pink Fresh Studio Word Series : Believe sentiment has been heat embossing with
Super Fine Bright White Opaque Embossing Powder on American Crafts shrimp cardstock foam mounted on the card front.

For the add on sentiment I used Simon Says Stamp Pale blush ink stamped on White cardstock then mounted on the shrimp cardstock for an added layer adhered down with liquid adhesive.

Here is my cardmaking process from my YouTube channel.

  1. What a pretty card Joanne and I adore the Rose Glintz EP over the background die cut, and complemented beautifully by the white one over the top, and a pretty large sentiment too. x
