You Melt My Heart - February Challenge

Hi Everyone,

So lets start things off with the  announcement of the winner of last month’s All About Hearts Challenge. Drum roll please........ Pat you’re the lucky winner of a WOW voucher, please contact me on marion@wowembossingpowder.co.uk to claim your prize and state if you would like it in US $ or UK £.

To kick this month off, we are challenging you and the design team with the theme "Melt-It" We would love it if you would play along with us :) You can link up your entries using our link below ! The closing date for this challenge is 25th February 2018. The winner will receive a gift voucher for £15.00/$15.00 to treat yourself to some WOW! goodies via our website. You MUST use the above technique in your entry to be eligible.  Have fun !!!!

So, what is Melt-It? well, it's an exclusive WOW! product that we came up with a few years ago to use with our powders and moulds, to make 3D embellishments. But, it's also a great powder extender, yes, I could do this technique without Melt-It but it would use up so much powder, by using Melt-It it extends the powder and goes much further, as it's a clear base it also gives a lovely glassy look.
Start by putting some Melt-It on the WOW! Premium Craft Mat, then add your colours, I used some BRAND NEW colours that are due to be released soon… I know I'm a tease, I'm sorry !!
The new colours used are pink Robin and Bird of Paradise, I also sprinkled on some Coral beach Sparkles and some Opaque bright White Powder. Cover it with some baking parchment. I get mine from the £1.00 shop (Jane Asher) it works a treat. Heat through until it's all molten, keep your heat tool on the parchment as you lift if off, this helps it release.
When you release it, you have two lots to use the one on the mat, let this cool and lift off with a palette knife, or just peel the one off the parchment.
Position your dies in your favourite area and die cut, I used Momenta Heart Dies.

Just getting my TEAL Sizzix cutting plates in there LOL !!!!
I stamped a Valentines message on using the Lawn Fawn Celebration Script Sayings.
The bits I had left over I put into a WOW! Foil Tray and re-melted (you can melt as many times as you like) and made little droplets onto my mat ready to use on another project.
I love that there's no waste with this product.
I hope you enjoyed my take on melt-It and I just know you're going to love all the other girls projects.
Thanks for looking.
