Hi Everyone! Today I am very pleased to introduce our Guest Designer for the month: Isha Gupta!
Hi I am Isha Gupta. I am a wife and mom to two awesome girls. I've been living in Switzerland for 18 years. I've always been creative but got hooked onto stamping about four and half years ago. I am primarily a cardmaker but occasionally love to create other paper projects, scrapbook pages, mixed media canvas etc.
I've been lucky to have published in various magazines in the US and UK I don't have a particular style as I like to explore new techniques. I tend to find myself drawn towards fun, cute, clean and simple with a touch of out-of-the-box thinking. I love COLORS and coloring using various mediums.
You can see my work on my blog at NewIdeas.
Today, I am so excited and honored to be a guest over at WOW! Embossing Powder. I love the various embossing powders they have and my recent craze of foiling started by using the Fab foil. Recently I used the stamps from WOW! and I just love the designs and quality of it. Thank you Tania for having me here :)
Now I really had a blast creating the cards:
|
Card1:
I decided to create a CAS card first, so I stamped the Lace stamp using White Pearl embossing powder. Love the elegant look of it. To create my own glitter paper for the sentiment I just covered a scrap piece of cardstock with VersaMark ink and then embossed it using Calypso glitter powder. Beautiful color :)

|
Card 2: I stamped the Tropical stamp using VersaMark ink. Embossed it using Bonding Powder and then used Gold Fab Foil and passed it through a Laminator. I then sponged some inks and then spritz some Shimmer Spritz Sparkle.

Card 3:
I just love this Flights of Fancy stamp. So for this card I went a little towards Autumn. I embossed the leaves using Rainbow Black Glitter embossing powder and then colored in using my Kaleidacolor inks. For my sentiment, I foiled a scrap piece of cardstock using Turquoise Fab Foil and die-cut the word.
Card 4:
For this card I went all soft and pink. Well pink is my favorite color :) and a touch of yellow gives it that extra something.
I embossed the Tropical background stamp using the bright white embossing powder and sponged some ink to create the Ombre look. I stamped the leaves and colored in using some inks. For the sentiment I created my own glitter paper using the Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder.
Isha, thank you so much for joining us on the blog and I absolutely love the projects you created using our products! I am sure our readers will love the projects that you have created too :D

ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous cards!!! I absolutely adore the gold foiled Hello card!!! I use WOW embossing powders almost exclusively because they give such yummy definition to my images! I love how rich and elegant they look and the colors available are tremendously awesome! I wasn't aware until now that you had foil too but I am going to be ordering some when I have the $$! Can't wait to try them out!!! Thank you for the generous prize package! Fingers crossed!!
ReplyDeleteOh no!! I just looked in your shop and saw LOTS and LOTS of things that I absolute NEED! Will have to get my doctor to write me a prescription for the items I need and turn it in to hubby! LOL Such amazing foil colors and I love the color blend Opaque Verdigris too! Can't forget about the Puff, Silicone Molds (feather, tea rose, rose quartet, dahlia, med rose and shabby rose) and the new embossing glitters! I think I am going to be in deep trouble!!!

ReplyDeleteIt's impossible to choose just one as a favourite, at first it was the multicolour feathers of your smile card but I keep getting drawn back to the shimmering gold foil and aqua of your hello card, maybe because that's next on my techniques-to-try list :)
