WOW! Embossing Powder and UmWow Blog Hop: DAY 2 COMMENTS CLOSED

Hello Lovely People!

Welcome to Day 2 of our blog hop with UmWow Studio!  UmWowStudio is a family owned business out of Las Vegas, NV. They specialise in laser cut chipboard embellishments and masks for the paper crafting and mixed media community. Today we have Patti Hamil and Jennifer Deal with a scrapbook layout and a Project Life page on the blog using WOW! and UmWow products:

Patti Hamil:

Hello everyone! For my project I made a layout with a photo from my nephew's wedding this May. I used lots of UmWow chippies and WOW powders. I also used an UmWow stencil on the background.

I used two colors of lavendar on the swirls, and added floral elements in lavendar and white.

I used the diamond stencil with lavendar ink in different areas of my background. I used the blue powder on the little chippie bird and added a tiny pearl for the eye!

I used three colors of green powder on the greenery chippies! I love the shimmer of the glitter! And the chippies are so pretty!

I added a tag with the journaling and some twine with a few pearls for the finishing touch.

Here you can see that I also used the diamond stencil and ink on a lavendar strip of paper as an element. I also added a small amount of lace trim.

I had a great time with the UmWow products! Wow powders work so well with them.

My son recently graduated from high school and I wanted to capture some of the fun party we hosted in his honor for my Project Life album.  The party theme followed his school colors of black and gold.

To some contrast with Wow embossing powders, I used Black Glint, Black Twinkle, and Platinum. I also used Coconut Ice on a couple of pieces to show some texture in a similar design but not the additional color.

Here is the whole page with the celebration pieces from UmWow.

The top #party piece is embossed with Coconut Ice followed by Black Twinkle on #thisday and Black Glint on #cake. It is so great how the letters still show through the embossing powder.

I can't wait to color more UmWow pieces for cards too!

Thank you for stopping by!
