Today I wanted to share a couple of background techniques that I love. The first one uses a mix of the beautiful Pearl powders. The first one uses a mix of the beautiful Pearl powders.
It's hard to see on the photo, but I tried to get an angle where you could see the different colors!!! It looks awesome up close!
Here is the completed card: I used a embossed gold paper background matt for it to show the colors!
I also wanted to share this one that I did for another blog where I used an embossing folder, colored in the sections with markers, inked over the entire image and then embossed the whole thing with Ultra Shimmer powder! This is a really cool look in person!!!
Just wanted to get you thinking on different ways to use the powders on larger areas! I'm not done playing yet, I have a few more ideas! Check back to see what the talented designers have in store!
Thanks for stopping by!

I used the Brocade stamp for this. I inked it really well with Versamark ink and stamped it onto ivory cardstock. I then randomly sprinkled the different colors of the Pearl powders and embossed. I used Violet, Blue, Green, Red and Orange.
