Hi Everyone
This week its summer, shabby chic and stripes.
I
firstly took the lady stamp from the Indigo Blue 'Pomp and Pageantry'
and stamped her in Versamark onto some purple velvet paper then heat
embossed in WOW ebony black embossing powder.
I then cut an aperture out with a Spellbinder label 11 in pink cardstock.
The background is an embossing folder inked up with versamark, embossed then sprinkled with WOW sea white embossing powder (off white) onto parchment paper. This was then torn to give it a shabby look.
The flags I cut out of different patterned papers including stripes and flowers and used Apple red embossing powder around the edges and then added them onto string. I then punched out a Martha Stuart border punch onto white cardstock and added this to the background.
The embellishments of a flourish inked up in Versamark and heat set with Violet embossing powder, ribbon, pins, buttons, background papers and an inked up flower all add up to the vintage look.
Hope you have some wonderful times in this lovely weather, take care, Sue
