Hi Everyone
I have created a card with both embossing (dry and heat) and stencilling and added sentiments onto acetate which ping (crafty term!) off the card.
I then put the cardstock through the big shot again and ONLY embossed the snowflake twice on the card, overlapping the stencil snowflake. I then inked around the edges of the card, and stamped a sentiment from the WOW Gratitude stamps onto acetate and cut these on strips.
Hope you find time for a little crafting this week
This month with WOW is Thank You month.
I have created a card with both embossing (dry and heat) and stencilling and added sentiments onto acetate which ping (crafty term!) off the card.
Firstly, get a piece of copy paper and run it through your big shot with the snowflake die from spellbinders 2010 snowflake in the middle.
Take the die cut out so you have the stencil aperture and tack this onto a piece of white cardstock.
Ink through the stencil with versamark and then heat emboss with a combination of Opaque Pastel Blue and Azure embossing powders.
I then put the cardstock through the big shot again and ONLY embossed the snowflake twice on the card, overlapping the stencil snowflake. I then inked around the edges of the card, and stamped a sentiment from the WOW Gratitude stamps onto acetate and cut these on strips.
I then folded the strip at the top of the card and secured on the back. This enables the sentiments to dangle free in from of the card giving it a 3d effect.
Hope you find time for a little crafting this week
Sue
Spring and winter all in the one card! Love the kinetic element as well as your combination of powders on the embossed snowflake :)
